Richard “Dick” O. Harris has 30 years of corporate management, investment banking, and financial restructuring experience.
His background includes serving in positions at the CFO, CEO, and Board of Directors levels with companies involved in oilfield services, equipment manufacturing, value-added distribution, food production, business services, and transportation.
Harris founded the firm in 2009, with the simple premise of helping owners and family-owned businesses in the lower middle market expand by using private debt and equity capital. Capital is the ingredient for driving growth opportunities, and by the firm adds value by providing solutions, operational experience, and sourcing corporate development opportunities.
His experience gained over his career at Pioneer Corporation, Dresser Industries, and GE Antares Capital, and a large family office created broad skills to uniquely serve clients.
Raised in Wichita Falls, Texas, he has lived in Dallas for 32 years. Harris graduated with a degree in finance from Texas Christian University (TCU) and attended Thunderbird School of Global Management, receiving a master’s degree in Finance.
He has served on numerous boards of directors for profit and charitable entities. He has also been married for 22 years with three children and a stepson.
Harris currently holds the Series 7, 24, 63, and 79 securities licenses and both individual and corporate Texas real estate broker licenses.
